Medical Facility Patient Escort - Full time - 3rd Shift

As a Patient Escort, YOU will move patients and other items throughout the VA Medical Center. DETAILS OF THE JOB

You will have each trip assigned by a dispatcher over a handheld radio and you will be expected to complete each run quickly and safely to radio back for your next assignment.
You will become an ambassador to patients, family members, or other visitors to the VA Medical Center.
You will communicate effectively using excellent customer service techniques.
You will respond to medical emergency and broadcast codes and be familiar with VA Medical Center routes.
You will be walking continuously throughout your 8 hour shift which includes pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and twisting.
Hours for this position will be 11:30 pm to 8:00 am M-F.
